1949 Atala with Paris - Roubaix derailleur
Campagnolo refined their Cambio Corsa derailleur, replacing the two lever design with a single
lever that unlocked the quick release and moved the shifting fork. After Fausto Coppi used this
design to win the 1950 edition of the Paris-Roubaix, Campagnolo renamed the derailleur to
commemorate his win in the race known as The Queen of the Classics. This entirely original
Atala sports the derailleur that was soon to be obsolete, as the new Gran Sport debuted in 1951.
